WMIF MAIN SITEJoanna Gajuk is a director in US Equity Research on the Health Care Facilities and Managed Care team, based in New York. She has lead coverage of Home Care providers including home health, hospice, personal care, home medical equipment, and home infusion. She also covers senior living operators as well as death care. Regular research reports include Visitations in SCI locations, Funeral spending, Home infusion surveys, and Home Health/Hospice surveys. Gajuk frequently hosts conference calls and events with industry insiders, lobbyists, and private companies, including the annual BofA Home Care Conference. In 2020, she was chosen as a member of a cross-functional team led by the BofA Chief Risk Officer to develop an economic model to forecast output and employment for the Health Care and Social Assistance industry during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The model she helped to create remains in use by the risk department. Additionally, Gajuk serves as an internal resource as a member of the Women’s Leadership Council, regularly mentoring young employees and supporting educational programming. Before joining the firm in 2008, she was an equity research associate on the consumer products and cosmetics team at Oppenheimer & Co. Gajuk has a Bachelor’s degree in international economic and political relations from the University of Economics, Krakow, Poland and an MBA in Investment Management from Pace University, New York.
