Jonathan Carlson, M.D., Ph.D., is a hematologist-oncologist and researcher at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he is a physician in the MGH Cancer Center and a Principal Investigator in the MGH Center for Systems Biology. He and his team invent new molecular machinery for in vivo chemistry: visualizing biological events as they happen, tracking molecules and cells across space and time, and dynamically programming therapeutic function.
